Who Makes This Happen
Sharifa Johka
20 Years of Experience
Sharifa Johka is the Founder and Executive Director of Black Re{al}ities and has been traveling to Ghana for over 20 years. She built this experience because she couldn't find it anywhere else and because she understands that Black travelers deserve more than a well-managed itinerary. They deserve a guide who knows the difference between a managed itinerary and an experience that actually changes you.

She thinks ten steps ahead so you never have to think one step behind. This trip is personal for Sharifa. Ghana isn't a destination she researched. It's a place that shaped her.
